Asher Packman, an MPN patient and President of Meditation Australia has kindly offered a free meditation to MPN patients, their families and carers to mark MPN awareness day this Thursday, 14 September at 1pm (AEST).
The MPN AA invites you to join Asher for a live online meditation as part of MPN Awareness Day.
Asher (who was diagnosed with an MPN in 2010) will host a 30-minute session via Zoom.
Anyone with an MPN – as well as their families, friends and carers – are welcome to join at no cost.
As research is now clearly showing, meditation is a valuable practice for our health, with benefits such as stress reduction, pain management, improved sleep, enhanced coping skills and resilience, as well as overall improvements in vitality. Coming together with a community of people on a similar journey is also of great support, and this is amplified during meditation.
Asher promises a simple but profound practice, accessible to complete beginners and more advanced practitioners alike.
