SUMMARY:Online blood cancer support groups for June
DESCRIPTION:The Leukaemia Foundation runs regular online support groups\, free of charge and 100% confidential. \nThey are facilitated by an experienced Blood Cancer Support Coordinator.\nThe support groups cover a range of subjects. Upcoming support groups for June are outlined below. \n7 June and 23 June : ‘Vulnerability and Resilience’ \nEveryone experiences some level of vulnerability when faced with a hazard\, trauma or disaster. The diagnosis of a blood cancer is certainly an event that challenges a person’s health\, wellbeing and capacity to cope. Resilience is the ability for a person to overcome traumatic events that impact health and well-being.  In this session the group will explore what it means to be vulnerable in the context of a blood cancer diagnosis\, consider the concept that ‘out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength’ and discuss strategies to build resilience. \n15 June – a Carers’ blood cancer support group – ‘Vulnerability and Resilience’ \nFor more information and to register\, please see HERE. \nPlease note that it is important to register early as numbers are limited. \n\n\n\nDate\nTime (AEDT)\nTopic\n\n\n7 June\n7.00pm -8.30pm\nVulnerability and resilience\n\n\n15 June\n11am-12.30pm\nCarers’ blood cancer support group – Vulnerability and resilience\n\n\n23 June\n1.00pm-2.30pm\nVulnerability and resilience\n\n\n\nTo register\, and for more information\, please see the attached link to the Leukaemia Foundation’s website. \nShare to:
