The Leukaemia Foundation’s October support group is about self identity and self image.
Self-identity is a combination of our personality traits, abilities, physical attributes, interests, hobbies, and social roles. The many emotional and physical changes that can come along with a blood cancer diagnosis and treatment can change the way we perceive ourselves.
Join an experienced Leukaemia Foundation facilitator and fellow patients in a discussion about how a blood cancer diagnosis has impacted our self-identity, and talk through some ways that we can accept these changes and communicate them to our loved ones.
Please note that the time is listed in AEDT.
