You may be returning to study after a break, studying during treatment, or wondering how to manage study and the side effects of treatment. This seminar will help you understand common experiences, your education options, and how to find the best support.
The guest speaker is Olivia Doidge who is an occupational therapist
Olivia provides Educational & Vocational Support at ONTrac at Peter Mac.
She has worked extensively with both adults and adolescents with a cancer diagnosis.
You will hear about:
- Common concerns about returning to study & how to manage them
- Your rights as a student & someone with blood cancer
- Things to consider when returning to study
- What to discuss with your treating team
- Education support and services available
