The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) in the US has an expert panel which regularly updates its clinical and patient guidelines for Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs) – almost every year.
The 2026 physician guidelines were released earlier this year and the 2026 patient guidelines for MPNs have recently been released and are free to access.

- not all the medications listed in these US guidelines for myelofibrosis are available in Australia
- ropeginterferon alfa 2b (Besremi) is not available in Australia.
However another form of pegylated interferon (peginterferon alfa 2a Pegasys) is available.
